Fresno Famous

I usually like to be a little more covert in my shameless self promotions, but whatever.

My band, It'll Grow Back, is playing tomorrow night (that's Sept. 9) at The Crossroads, with The Widdly-Wahs and The Royal Tees, from Portland.

Show is $5, starts at 8 p.m.

The memories: Way, way back in the day, we used to have a somewhat regular gig at the Crossroads. This was long before the current owners, when the place was pretty much a dive bar in the best sense. The crowd was always an odd mix of hipsters, an occasional punker, some college dudes, and the local barfly types, who were known to be outrageous. I once saw a dude pee on the bartender, no joke. Well, he actually peed himself as she was trying to drag him out, but still ...

Anyway, the place has cleaned up since then and I'm totally excited to get be playing there again and expect at least one of y'all to come out.
