It's like riding a bike

Check it: I ride a bicycle. So this is my public service announcement about Bike Month, and Bike to Work Week (officially May 11 to 15). So get with the program y'all.
If you can ride all this week, that's awesome. If not the Fresno County Bike Coalition has some specific events you can take part in, including a pretty cool corporate challenge.
So go sign up.
If you need a bike (or a tune up), I'd suggest Tower Bike Shop on Olive, or Tower Velo on Van Ness (across from the renamed Club Fred). Both places are totally cool and very interested in getting people out and on bikes.
A little later this month is Fresno's Critical Mass, for those who are seeking solidarity on their two wheels. That's 6 p.m. May 29 at Fresno High.

The section in the bee went from 2 pages two one and half and now a quarter soon it will just be all gone.
Why is the Fresno Famous
Why is the Fresno Famous section in 7 getting smaller and smaller? A couple weeks ago it went from the whole back page to an inside page, then to half a page and this morning it's a fourth a page.

I love biking. I've been biking to work for over a year now (often with the assistance of my friend FAX) My work is taking part in the Corporate Challenge this Thursday. Our team name is the Taylor Teter Pedalship.
