Who caught the awesome front-page story on Juggalos in The Bee this weekend?
My take:
At best this is classic fear mongering.
At worst, it's a dangerous precedent to start labeling people who look/think/act differently.
My favorite quote came from Sgt. Bill Grove of the MAGEC anti-gang unit.
... he described the lyrics of performers on the Psychopathic label as "anti-establishment, violent and hard-core" and said police were concerned that the group might become more dangerous
.
juggalos are a FAMILY not a
juggalos are a FAMILY not a gangthose who think otherwise....FUCK YOU
Let the juggalo family live forever WHOOP!whoop!
Hate to break it to you but they are bunch of druggie criminals
Just check the Downtown library. That's all that hangs out there.
juggy juggy
i read the article online and thought it was pretty lame. the more or less defined a gang as a group that hangs out together - that commits crime. so, no matter how loosely you're associated with a "group", you might be a gangster if someone in your group does illegal activity.
now, if it had been that a gang was a group organized for the purpose of committing crimes, i might have had a little more belief in their spin. and, they would have found themselves ruling out these people with their face paint.
btw, i saw some of these kids the other day and thought it must be crazy hot under all that make up.
