Le Parisien Cafe
If you're one of those "freedom fries," people, stop reading now, because, as the name implies, this place is French, right down to the accented owner (well, I assume she owns the place). Now, I've never been to France (or even Canada) so I can't vouch for its authenticty, but ...
The good: All variety of butter-and-cremed-filled pastry goodness. I had some kinda mini fruit-cream-filled something. It was a perfect bite-sized morsel and perfecty priced at $1. I (on a separate occasion) also had a strawberry crepe, which was delicious, for sure, and totally filling, for somewhere around $6. The coffee (or cafe, if you will) drinks are also pretty damn good, if that's your thing.
Also, it's located next to the new GB3 and seeing someone order a eclair, all sweaty in their workout gear is totally worth a laugh.
The bad: It might be a little "north Fresno" for some people. Not in its aesthetic or atmoshere or any of that, but literally, geograpgically a bit far up palm.
