The list: Public Art

For this week, The List is keeping with the Fulton-Mall theme. As you all (should) know the mall is home to some really wonderful public art. They have a Renoir people.

And you all (should) know about the Mural District and the Tower District stuff.

Where is all the other public art?

I'll start: Clovis.
Of course there's the statue of Festus in Old town. But the walking trail that runs through town features several pieces, including "The Walking Doctor," which happens to look a lot like Hunter S. Thompson. There's also that creepy metal-people-crawling-up-the-I-beam thing at Sierra Vista Mall.

More from The List

Independent Bookstores.

Bike Racks.

Coffee.

Downtown Parking.

Thrift-ish Stores.

Community Gardens.
