New and different instruments

One place where something new is happening in music is the folding in of different instruments into the traditional American folk/rock band setting. I saw some of this at the Fusefest with
Brother Luke and the Bells and the little organ.

Most adventurous is Michael Parisi's Balinese Gamelan orchestra:
