Pecha Kucha Night Fresno Vol. 1

Pecha Kucha, Japanese for the sound of conversation, has tapped into a creative work forum that can be easily and informally shown. Pecha Kucha Night has spread across the world to it's 156th city, Fresno.

Pecha Kucha Night was conceived in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for designers to meet, network and show their work. The key to Pecha Kucha Night is its patented system for avoiding long winded designers. Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds — giving 6 minutes, 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up. This keeps presentations concise, the interest level up and gives more people the chance to show.

We are working from the premise that almost everything we interact with is designed. Everything Under the Sun, Everything Under Design.
