River Camps! Get kids active and outdoors for the Summer!

The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust will be launching a new River Camp in addition to River Camp at Scout Island this summer. The new River Camp at Owl Hollow offers art, conservation, canoeing, outdoor leadership, and air conditioned activities for children. This year the camps have bilingual counselors fluent in Spanish and Hmong!

Scholarships available for anyone interested who cannot otherwise afford to send their children to camps. Camps run for 9 weeks starting from June 22 through the end of August. If you contact us we can mail you a brochure or application. The day camp runs from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. We have travel reimbursement options for parents with groups of children. Bring in your rental receipt and you will be reimbursed!

River Camps at Scout Island are located North of Herndon on Van Ness

River Camps at Owl Hollow are located at the River Center at 11605 Old Friant Road in Fresno (3 miles north of Woodward Park)

Cost:
• The River Camp at Owl Hollow: $185
• River Camp at Scout Island: $200
• Young Explorers Camp: $90
The Trust offers limited full and half-scholarships for deserving applicants! $15 Discount for members.
