Rumble To The Summit 2008

I rode in the "Rumble To the Summit 2008" yesterday.
I was kinda disappointed in it, as there weren't as many riders as I had expected, not as many vendors as I had expected, and when we arrived at the summit, it seemed like it was just lunch... Nothing else happening.
The lunch was fantastic, btw, and the live music was pretty good... But $60 dollars for lunch, a cool ride pin, and a horribly bright orange T-shirt? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to support the Make A Wish Foundation, but for a $60 run I would expect there to be more than just lunch and an ugly tshirt.
Did anyone else on Fresno Famous ride in the Rumble? Did you have a good time?
Climb to Kaiser
this coming weekend is the Bicycling ride Climb to Kaiser. They have been doing it for over 32 years.
I remember it was a few years ago that both the Rumble and Climb were held on the same day.

I missed it yesterday, as my bike's in for new tires and a tune-up, but I heard there were maybe half the riders last year. I also heard a couple of complaints about the cost...
Nice to know someone else on Famous rides.
