79 Local and Regional Artists Participate in Small Treasures: Artist Miniatures at the Fresno Art Museum

The Fresno Art Museum announces the opening of the exhibition and fundraiser, Small Treasures: Artist Miniatures at the Fresno Art Museum located in the Moradian Gallery on November 21, 2008. The Exhibition is open to the public and runs through December 18, 2008. The exhibit benefits the Museum and showcase 130 small works of art by over 79 local and regional artists. Supporters and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the holiday season at the Museum and the chance to own these treasures by participating in a ticketed lottery.

A ticket box will be located under each work where participants may deposit their purchased tickets for an opportunity to win the “small treasure.” Patrons may deposit as many tickets as they like for each artwork. The more tickets deposited, the better the chance to be the lucky winner. Tickets are $5.00 each or five (5) for $20.00. The drawing of lucky winners who purchased tickets to participate in the fundraising opportunity will be on December 19, 2008. Participants need not be present to win. The artwork will be available for pick up by the winners on December 23, 2008, just in time for the holidays.
