Hello Derby Grrls and derby fans,
At the time of this post, I am still uploading the video I took on Saturday night. I am gonna go out on a limb here and predict that the most viewed video for the entire match is one I have titled "Derby Dancing."
Just follow the link to all the video.
Congratulations ladies on your victory!

The track
Flat track derby is really finding its appeal throughout the nation because not only is it mobile meaning you can pick up some rope and tape and take it all over the world to skate, its also affordable for leagues who are owed and operated by the skaters for the skaters.
Plus, flat track requires ALOT more muscle power. you dont have that fancy incline to give you the extra speed it takes to knock a girl out. you have to rely sole on your massive thighs and super endurance to gain momentum.
We have those lovely thighs thanks to Mike the Medic the sadistic, torturous man we call Coach.

Ooops!!
I wasnt logged in when I posted my last comment about the track....
The track
Is the exact track as dictated in the Womens Flat Track Derby Association. How do I know...I laid it. The track you are thinking of is a banked track, not used nearly as much as it used to be. The derby world has moved (for the most part) to the wonderful world of flat tracks. Want to know more???

Seriously, the Grrls could skate on gravel and I would still support them. I feel bad I wasn't able to make the bout on Sat.
i learned it from them
according to the literature, that is the proper track for flat track roller derby. so, unless you're going to donate the other style of track, get behind them on this style. the action is fabulous, the crowd is great, and the grrls work there tails off.
You know, I really WANT to like this league... but without a proper roller derby track, it's just not doing it for me. :-(
You can now embed those videos directly into this post if you want. Just copy the URL of the page the video is on and paste it into the body of your post.
