The authors investigated the role of homosexual arousal in exclusively heterosexual men who admitted negative affect toward homosexual individuals. Participants consisted of a group of homophobic men (n = 35) and a group of nonhomophobic men (n = 29); they were assigned to groups on the basis of their scores on the Index of Homophobia (W. W. Hudson & W. A. Ricketts, 1980). The men were exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual, and lesbian videotapes, and changes in penile circumference were monitored. They also completed an Aggression Questionnaire (A. H. Buss & M. Perry, 1992). Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies.

2. this country has several points of indoctrination into the gay lifestyle, pedophilia is just one; jail & prison are others, the downward spiral of parenting skills & the high rate of biological father abandonment could be others

If it isn't the specter of pedophilia that the radical Right invokes in order to scare people into denying gays our civil rights, then it's bestiality or, bleccch, necrophilia.

In the meantime, let's not forget that those bastions of conservatism, heterosexism and homophobia---the Catholic Church and the US Military---are RAMPANT with older, closeted or latent homosexual males getting their wretched hands on younger, not always gay, males, in a despicable abuse of power over the powerless.
The answer isn't to continue driving homosexuals into the closet, where they can continue their rapacious behavior, but to kick open the door and allow us to marry other adult, same-sex partners!

I had heard of a similar study on 20/20 or Dateline a few years back. And its true.
Senator Larry Craig is a great example of this.
