Sweet River Grill and why we will never return there.
Well, we saw the place and thought it would be a nice restaurant. We waited for a fairly short time and once we were seated the sadness began. The waiter and waitress had freinds there and began playing with them through the aisles. we simply ignored it but then the freinds began cussing loudly and we asked that they be told to keep it down as we had my 9 yr old son.
That worked.
Next camt the meal. We were surpised at how much the Chef Salad came out to considering it was all lettuce and there was a sliver of advocado. What was funny was that I asked the waiter if we could get more advacado to which he went to the back and returned with the same advocado only it was sliced thinner and spread out over the salad. we couldnt beleive it so I asked for a manager and guess what , they claimed there was not one available.
The following day I called the morning manager. She seemed a bit more professioanl so I thought. She agreed to give us a complimentary lunch to make up for the service and asked for our address. She stated a coupon or something from the restaurant would show up shortly in the mail. Ha, it never showed.
So we just let that place go. If you want good service go across the street to either Toledos or Cool Hand Lukes.
