Getting started...
To get a WAKA Division going, we need a few things: Players, Local Volunteers, and Fields to play on!

(In fact we have some leads on fields, but we need some local volunteers to help us make sure the possible locations are appropriate!)

What can you do?
Plenty! Firstly, Subscribe to the CA Underdog Division mailing list. Not only will this make sure you receive all news and updates as the details come together, it helps us keep track of how many locals are ready to play when we open registration. So tell your friends to Subscribe as well! Or get your co-workers to Subscribe and prepare to form a company team! They can also Subscribe

Would you like to take an active hand in helping to launch the league, and shape the community that will bring you unforgettable good times for years to come? Then Contact us and volunteer! We need local eyes and ears to give us the advice only a resident could give - what neighborhoods are best, what bars we should approach about being the official Division Bar, and so on. Plus, when the first season of CA Underdog runs, it'll need leaders - not just to work with WAKA's experts in setting things up, but in planning the all-important division parties! What's WAKA all about?
Every WAKA Division is a co-ed social club as much as anything. It's about inclusion, about meeting people, about recapturing the simplicity of schoolyard play, and about having that day of every week you know you're gonna have a great time. Kickball's an easy game that brings people together - anybody can play, anybody can get good at it... and the ones who get especially good at it can compete in national tournaments to determine the World Kickball Champion! WAKA's got something for everyone, and there's really nothing else quite like it.
