By far, my favorite sushi place in Fresno County. Seriously delicious food, and an excellent atmosphere.
Chef Koji Ogawa of Sakura Chaya
Chef Koji Ogawa of Sakura Chaya is the only sushi chef from Fresno who won last year, and is in this years Sushi Masters competition.

After visiting Sakura Chaya at 690 E Nees Ave, It is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Fresno, they have a large menu to select from. They may not have the best of watering service, and the prices might be high, but their Sushi Chef is a Award Winner, I say just go there for him, and nothing else. I did like their Sake selection.
They had Gekkeikan Sake as the House Sake, there is even a $51 bottle of some of the higher end Sake.
