Weekend recap: The four-day edition

* I spend the weekend in the sun and in the pool getting water trapped down in the depths of my right ear, which is annoying as all heck and certain to lead to an infection. But I avoided sunburn. How about you? Did you see any big-bangs?
* It was a nice weekend, temperature wise. And back to work just in time for a heatwave.
* Someone want to play kickball? Let's start a Famous team?
* My sources tell me the Dirty Olive has closed. When I called there was no answer and no message? Any one been out there lately? Any confirmation on this?

Always thought it was horrid to swim in a pool, even when had own in the back garden.
As to the water in the ear, have had that happen in the shower, how odd is that?

The Olive is closed for renovations. The sign on the door says it is under new management.
water in the ear
pour a capful of alcohol, the rubbing kind, in your ear. let it sit for about 5 seconds then drain it into a cotton ball. it'll pull the water right out.

thurs night - a lil post art hop show & a friend's bday party (not in that order)
fri - bbq, wii, and yes, some things that went kapow
sat - grizzlies game & out on the town
sun - a return to mr. sushi was enjoyed
as for kickball, i've got a few people interested. three of the four (so far) are bloggers. famous whitewater, if you want to add your hipster coolness to our side, drop me a line.
