Weekend recap: What I didn't do and some more politicing.

It's probably easier to start with what I didn't do this weekend.

I didn't: Get asked to Sadie Hawkins.

I didn't: Catch the MMA fever.

I didn't: Support the democrats on their way to office.

I did come accros the East Coast Avengers, who are making noise by calling for Bill O'Reilly's head.

My commentary: I'm torn. On a strictly musical level, I like the song (and others from the band's MySpace page). And I can appreciate the message. There is a lot wrong with Bill O'Reilly. The punk rocker in me is all about artists pushing the boundaries of the free speech. As a politcal statement, it's Aces, I guess. But it's not a song I'd put on my sing-along play-list, you know.
Then, that's probaly not the point.

Awww!

Next time we have a Sadie Hawkins Dance, I'm totally going to ask you, Famous Whitewater!
It was super fun and folks totally got into the dressing-the-same spirit.
Once again, Fresno came through for the Smog City Roller Grrls!
