I imagine it's the unions that support her and they represent all the police officers. It's just the way she worded it. Unions are such an ugly word when it comes to politics that she danced around the subject.

Hey Fran-
How about you doing a commerical where we actually see you talking. You don't show much credibility with all of your NEGITIVE ads. I hope Gilmore kicks your butt back to Shafter. Besides what does Shafter got going for it. Toilet town if you ask me.

The more the Fran commercials run the more it makes Gilmore look good. That's how bad they are. I'll never forget the "Nicole cashed her check" line. I saw a Gilmore commercial the first time today, and I'm a flaming Democrat, He comes off solid, thoughtful and competent.

The claims are a little dubious, but the ad does have some style. I like the part where it says voters are getting a political bologna sandwich, with "bologna" actually sandwiched between the words "sandwich" and "political." Genius.
But if Florez wins, she's going to be in the Assembly with her son Dean. How does that work? What if Dean does not vote the way mom wants? If she going to be like "Mijo, you better change your vote or I'm going to show everyone those pictures of you peeing in the tub when you were a baby."
Yeah, I like the "blowing kisses" one, too. Because politicians shouldn't be able to resolve differences. These are great publicity for Danny Gilmore. I never remember Fran's name, but I remember Danny's.
At least she made prisoners work instead of sleeping in the middle of the day.

It's a tad whiny. But, I have to say, I probably would agree with her stand on most issues. I'm assuming she's a conservative to liberal Democrat. Depending on which issue.
But, it kind of sound like she's running against Nicole not Gilmore.

My favorite one is where she said she told her son Danny Florez and Nicole Parra (sp) that they shouldn't cash their paycheck during the budget crisis and then admonishes Nicole for taking the money. It makes me laugh.
I'm so sick of these now that I just hit mute when I hear her voice. I swear she's got me trained ala pavlov's dog.

Sounds completely nuts. Jobs going to China? What does that Assembly district (they neglected to say which dist.) have to do with jobs across the country lost to China? Nebulous. That whole Quadrangle of political opera is just quite fascinating. How about a sitcom with all four of them?

Support of 50,000 police officers
Does California even have 50,000 police officers? I find it hard to believe that all 50,000 support her?

so they rewrite these
so they rewrite these commercials that quickly....
slightly less Red China
This ad you have is the toned down version of the original.
The original also included the word Communist.
It was written and said several times in the spot, as in "our jobs are going to COMMUNIST China".
Better dead than Red baby.
Nice post idea
