Though the guitar has existed in a recognizable form since the 13th century, standard guitar tuning (E-A-D-G-B-E) was not invented until 1891.

I must ask why does Ross Bagdasarian deserve a better spot than his cousin? It seems to me that Ross got his start in part to his no-account famous cousin.

Yes get drunk pick up your wife and throw her down the stair in front of your son.
He was also a horrible painter.
The only thing I like about his paintings is the way my friends from the "River Pork" area start drooling when they read the signature. Then realize the paintings are real.
They dont get it that he did 100's possibly 100O's of paintings.
He painted on any piece of paper he could get.
Ross Bagdasarian was really Fresno's most talented person. He deserves a better place in Fresno's history then Saroyan.
