Creative Fresno's Creative Blender
For March we're heading downtown to the new ultra hip, ultra hot Twenty39 Ultra Lounge! You've heard of it right? Of course you have! People were talking about Twenty39 before they finished laying the floor.
You've GOT to see this place! Sophisticated interior design spiced up with a rich color pallet and sensual textures coupled with an eclectic (and hip) mix of music really sets the mood for a great time. Boy does this place bring the urban experience up several notches!
And just in case you need a little more enticement to join in the fun our raffle will feature two works by local artist and designer Merili Loucks! You might remember seeing some of her Urban Angel digital prints at the FAM Gift Shop or at her space in Broadway Studios.
But wait there's more! Photographers Kaboo Vang and Wilkie Kwok and Digital Surrealist Jonathan Ayala will be displaying some of their latest work. Jon and Wilkie both had pieces that placed in the recent Nudes in November show at Sorensen Studio while Kaboo is granting us a sneak peek preview of her very first solo ArtHop show that's coming up in April. The best part is that all three will be there so you can talk to them, find out what motivates them, buy them drinks so they lower the price (just kidding!) or just hang out and get to know some of the amazing local talent we here.
So really, you're not going to want to miss this one!
The Blenders, which take place on the Friday after ArtHop, are Creative Fresno's social mixers of professionals, artists and entrepreneurs whose exchange of ideas are an effort to revitalize the urban life and landscape of the Fresno region.
