This year the City of Clovis has proclaimed the month of November as Diabetic KID'Z 4 L.I.F.E. Month. The month of November is Diabetes Awareness Month around the world and we are celebrating in our little part of the world but also with everyone around the world via livestreaming on the internet. We will be streaming from Railroad PArk in Clovis and other locations along the bike/running path on Every Saturday from 7am to 7pm so come and visit us.

American Medical Overseas Relief (AMOR) is holding a fundraiser for Afshar Hospital in Kabul. Delicious Middle Eastern cuisine will be served and Congressman Jim Costa is guest speaker. There will be a live and silent auction, raffles every hour, live WAPI demonstrations by Rotary Club and a live feed to Afshar Hospital. Proceeds go towards running Afshar and its clinics. AMOR also works with AmeriCares and the Aschiana Organization to bring healthcare to local Afghan women and children.
