Saint Agnes Home Health and Hospice is seeking volunteers to spend one to four hours a week visiting hospice patients in their homes and is offering free two-day training. Volunteer opportunities may include caring for patients by running errands, providing companionship, reading, performing light chores or offering caregiver relief. Hours are flexible and are based on the patient's needs and the volunteer's availability. Volunteers complete application: http://www.samc.com/hospice-volunteer.

This is a full week workshop on decorative painting for Cabinetry and furniture - class will cover everything from prepping your surface to high-end furniture finishes. Each student will create 10 door samples and 10 molding samples and receive a detailed formula book to recreate every finish. November 12th - 16th

Nature Kids - Our toddler class is a "parent and me" class with story time, arts and crafts, hands on experience with the topic of the day, and snack time. We teach several different classes about nature and animals and everyday is a new and different topic! Recommended ages is 2-5 years old.
Classes are held across the street from The Discovery Center Park in the Nature Kids building. Preregistration is required. Call 251-5533 to Register. -

Studio 74 is pleased to present the abstract art of Bill Bruce and Richard Silva, along with the folk art of Louis Vuittonet November 1-30, 2012. Art Hop reception on November 1, from 5-9 pm will include Jazz Hop music by Geoffrey Kelly Dean from 5:30-7 pm. We sit for 2 guided meditations suitable for experienced meditators or those trying meditation for the first time ever!
