The Madera Wine Trail’s “Wine & Chocolate Weekend” will be held on February 9 & 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy this special two-day wine tasting event and celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved one and friends! Plan to bring home some excellent local wines to share with friends and family.

For the month of February (Feb 1-28), find your true love at ARF. All chihuahuas and chihuahua mixes have a lowered adoption price of $100. This includes the spay or neuter, all shots including rabies, microchip, and heartworm test.
Adoption hours are Friday-Sunday 12:30-4:30 and Wednesdays 2:00-5:00.

16th Annual Mardi Gras Celebration: Mardi Gras in Space! Festivities kick-off Sunday, February 10, 2013 with the space themed Grand Mardi Gras Parade starting at 1:00 p.m. The parade begins at Olive and Fruit avenues, traveling east on Olive then continues North on Maroa Avenue. This collection exhibits dynamic works created by 13 of California’s foremost environmental artists who collaborated to communicate a heightened connection to their natural surroundings through rich imagery using a variety of media from the traditional (photographs, painting, and video) to the unconventional (smog /particulate matter on porcelain).
Together, their approach is multidisciplinary, drawing on art, science, spirituality, and social justice.
On Sunday, February 10 at 3:00 p.m., Keith Snell, pianist and writer of educational music for piano students will perform. He specializes in piano music written to be played with the left hand alone. In 1986, Keith was diagnosed with a repetitive motion injury in his right hand. His music books are ranked among the most popular teaching resources on the market today. He returned to the concert stage in 2006 as a left handed pianist.
