    Nature Kids - Our toddler class is a "parent and me" class with story time, arts and crafts, hands on experience with the topic of the day, and snack time. We teach several different classes about nature and animals and everyday is a new and different topic! Recommended ages is 2-5 years old.

    Together, their approach is multidisciplinary, drawing on art, science, spirituality, and social justice.

    For the month of February (Feb 1-28), find your true love at ARF. All chihuahuas and chihuahua mixes have a lowered adoption price of $100. This includes the spay or neuter, all shots including rabies, microchip, and heartworm test.

    Adoption hours are Friday-Sunday 12:30-4:30 and Wednesdays 2:00-5:00.

    If you cannot make our usual hours, call during our business hours and we will do our best to accommodate an appointment time for you.

    *Puppies (6 months and under) are excluded from this event.

    GRID Alternatives trains community volunteers and job trainees to install solar electric systems for local low income families. No experience or special skills required, anyone is welcome to attend free of charge!

    Want to Get Involved?

    To participate on an install all volunteers must first attend a volunteer orientation. The orientation is to give volunteers a basic understanding of solar electric systems and an overview of the installation process.
