Calling all artists: Here's your chance to put your own personal mark on Fresno Famous.
Fresnofamous.com is your site. You're the experts about what you want to see, so you should come up with the new look for Fresno Famous. You've been participating in it for years. Now, we want the re-design of a new banner and logo for Fresno Famous to come from our readership.
Use the Photoshop skeleton file or take a screen grab from Famous and redesign the header and logo. Once you have worked your magic, email it as a non-zipped attachment (zip file attachments are eaten by our IT monkeys) along with your first and last name, daytime phone number (including area code), and email address, to Famous Whitewater. The contest closes August 27. The winner will receive $200, front-page recognition for their work and new Famous schwag.

Reunions
I've never been to one because I went two years to Mclane and then we moved to Clovis and I graduated from there in 1972. I probably know more people at Mclane because I graduated from Fort Miller Jr. High in 1969, but I still feel conflicted about it. Are reunions a positive ? I was on the swim team in both places... I'm on the internet just surfing down memory lane. What do you think ?! Billy

I'm a designer and illustrator. This contest disgusts me. I've been a Famous reader since it went live, but this is wrong. How could the Bee corrupt this? I hope every creative professional who reads this goes elsewhere from here on out. Leave Famous, people.
