Some three months back before I started my own blog, would have been clueless as to how this sort of thing works. I do have my own blog, and it is doing right well, thank you very much. I write almost every day, and try to answer comments posted by members. My blog is a bit different. I am a benign dictator, in that it is my site and I never allow folks to pull my website away from what I wanted it to be from the start.

I was told of Fresno Famous just recently, and as a lark, posted some articles on here. It is flattering to have folks tell me that they knew who I was and that they had read my website. The format here is far more cheeky than on mine, and I have allowed myself to have a right good giggle on here. I like the folks I have met and have had some join my website as well.

Along with having a spot of fun, I have tried to make more aware of the problems of my road, and what I believe is possible from the folks in Fresno. I have been greatly surprised (gobsmacked, more like) to have folks express much the same desire for change as I have banged on about these past three months.

In that, Fresno Famous has the ability to give voice to folks who might not otherwise be heard. That is bloody brilliant. There will always be self serving members of the site, hell bent on promoting their pet causes, so aggressively that they post multiple time to force any other stories off the front page to force folks to notice them. Right odd that, as I have always believed that cream does indeed rise to the top of the bottle.

I hope that folks who bang on endlessly about that which is of no interest will find a better avenue to get noticed. Envy is not a good trait. Some folks just do not like to be left out of the party, even if they are a damp cloth.

For me, this has been a right good time, and should think the readers here will here more of in the future. I am passionate about my road and my neighbors. But not a complete fool, best to give a giggle along with a think on. I would love more folks here to be more vocal in wanting Fresno to be better, and to challenge leaders in the city to be more than they have been in the past.
