The City of Fresno, the Central Valley Business Incubator, the Northern California Solar Energy Association, and the American Solar Energy Society are pleased to bring you the 3rd annual Fresno Solar Tour, part of the National Solar Tour. Join neighbors and local business owners for this self-guided tour in the Fresno metropolitan area on Saturday, September 29th, 2007.
This year our tour will provide the public access to solar-powered homes and businesses that demonstrate how it works, what it costs, and why it may be a good choice for you.

SCREENING: "Kilowatt Ours: A Plan To Re-Energize America"

Kilowatt Ours will be shown every hour through the tour at our registration center.
The film opens with Vice President Dick Cheney's energy policy speech in which Cheney makes the claim that America needs nearly 1900 new power plants in the next 20 years to meet projected electricity demands.
From here, filmmaker Jeff Barrie takes viewers on a journey from the coal mines of West Virginia to the solar panel fields of Florida, as he discovers solutions to America's energy related problems.
