These films will feature the stories of Dr. Tony Vang, the first Hmong American on the FUSD Board of Education. Blong Xiong, the first Hmong American to win a seat on the Fresno City Council. Misty Her, the first female Hmong American Principal in the Central Valley. Song Kong, who survived the Secret War in Laos and escaped to America. And MaiDer Vang, who returned to Fresno to help new Americans have a voice in the media. Please come and support this worthwhile event!
