Want to laugh? Want to get angry? Want to get disgusted with yourself for laughing at things that should make you angry?
Then come to the Smokehouse this Thursday night and see stand-up comedy featuring Jaguar Bennett, the comedian so offensive that you wish you could somehow go back in time and prevent yourself from ever seeing him in the first place.
Jaguar will be giving his full and frank opinions on sex (he's for it, between consenting adults of any species), death (OK, especially when it happens to other people), religion (only OK when profitable), women (delicious on toast), God (a nice job if you can get it) and more.
Plus ... more comedy from Ken Lewis, Will Wright and others!
This Thursday night at Smokehouse, 1231 Van Ness Ave (downtown, just north of Fresno St.). Show starts at 8:30 PM. Cover is $15.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Save the Jaguar Foundation. Please help this magnificent but endangered creature afford beer and cigarettes!
Wrong town for comedy?
We're trying to make Fresno a great town for comedy. We're starting by paying the comedians. Please support these picturesque, misunderstood yet magnificent savage beasts of nature.
wrong town for comedy
I'm sure you are aware your living in the wrong town for making a living off of Comedy... unless your writing for the big town paper.
gee, I dunno...
I'm all for saving Jaguars, but before Ford bought 'em out? Their electrical systems were horrendous...
And, really, if you want to see one actually work well, you need to replace the motor with a small block chevy or ford, (kits are readilly available,)
---personally, I think a 318 or 360 mopar plant would also work pretty good...
-Still, there's one going on on Craigs List (Straight Six mill,) being sold for like, a thousand bucks or something, (decent enough guy selling it, one of the 'Grim Rides,' folks
..-nice caddy and F150 over there at bargain basement prices too...
Saving the Comedians
It's also interesting when performers get paid for their work, which doesn't always happen in this town.
But, yeah, Save the Jaguar is a totally worthy cause and I encourage everyone to contribute to it.
Save the Jaguar
Is would be interesting to see the money from this show to really go to 'Save the Jaguar'
