Sushi -Japanese Kitchen... Hands Down the best.
Tacos -Saturday Nights @ El Praddo Nite Club... The Truck in the Parking Lot between 10pm and 1am
Chinese -The Resturant inside Rep's Bar... Best Orange Chicken
Chinese -Kowloon Kitchen, Clovis... Biggest Portions, Great place reminds me of S.F.
Thai -The Thai House Willow/Ashlan... Noy is the Man.
American -The 500 Club, Clovis... I love to get a steak, Beer and play cards.
Japanese to go -Central Fish, Downtown Fresno... Eat to go, or sit down.
Burgers -Irene's Cafe, Tower District... Monster 1 pound w/Bacon and Cheese...oh yea!
Veggie Burger -Peach Pit, Tower District... Been eating um so long why break tradition.
Beerocks -Laucks Bakery, Tower... The place in Clovis closed, so they win by default.
Fish n' Chips -Pa
Deli -Piemonte's Deli, Tower... Great Sandwiches in the Tower!
Deli -Sam's Deli, Central Fresno... Great Sandwiches and More.
Deli -Full-O-Bull, Clovis... Yep, Yer in Clovis... Now Shut up and Eat.
Steak/Seafood -Richard's in Fresno... If it ain't broke don't try to fix it.
Seafood -Pacific Seafood, North Fresno... Tradition, Tradition, Tradition.
Italian -Luna's Resturant, Clovis... Bert and Family will always treat you right.
Basque -Shepherd's Inn, Downtown Fresno... Getting Better and Better.
Sushi -Edo-ya, Fresno... When I'm in Fresno and can't get to Clovis, this is the one.
Indian -Brahma Bull, Fresno... Why go anywhere else?
New Age Pizza -Fugazzi's Clovis... Good, not as good as Visalia.
So. Ea. Asian -Pho 99, Tower/Fresno... mmm Good, no B.S. and no M.S.G.
Cheap Burgers and Taco's -Chris Meat Market, Downtown/West Fresno... Just don't go to late.
Now look I eat everywhere, I didn't mention : Chicken Pie Shop, Vini Vidi Vici's, and Livingstones cuz I eat there all the time we all love each of them for different reasons. I also neglected my favorite pub's that serve food too, cuz my list is to friggin long.

I went to Phillys and Fries this week. I got a Philly cheesesteak and some chili fries. A word of warning, the basic cheesesteak comes with jalapenos, which I wouldn't expect on an East coast staple. The sandwich was very good, though. The chili fries were also good, save for a bone fragment in the chili. This isn't isolated to just this place; I've been finding more bone fragments in burgers and chili lately when I eat out, and it's making me want to eat at home more and more.
With all these anonymous props for Philly's and Fries, I just wanted to chime in and say that they're good, but not the end all be all.

WOW, West Coast Philly's & Fries is the best, even better than Charlie's subs! You must try it, the Regular Philly Cheese is so delicious! Perfect combination of meat,cheese,pepers,onions, all melted together for a great taste. In the shopping center on the corner of Nees & Cedar

I really don't go out to eat but after seeing the news do a story on that place everyone is talking about Phillys and Fries I decided well it must really be something really great as much as people are talking about so I gave it a try and came from across town and the outcome that article I read said WOW and he was right these people really really have something it was like nothing I have ever tasted it was very very good I had the original and by the way not just to meantion it's family owned and they are just the best looking couple and the place is really a royal palace for whoever reads this my review is a 10 all the way this city really needs something like this ......

Al's Cafe
good list, you should add Al's Cafe to it for a good breakfast place open from 6am-3pm Daily.
also Luby's for Chinese.
Kim's is good for Vietnamese but there are a lot of Pho' places and I never know what other ones are friendly and good to go to.
Phillys & Fries best ever
I read the article about that place Phillys & Fries wow wow wow I went there for luch and dinner it has got to be the best Philly on the West Coast its great and the amount of food they give you is perfect I love to be able to take some home for later when I was there someone told me to try the Buffalo Chicken Philly so I did and I mean it was just the right amount of spices and peppers it all just blended together so perfect you know when you have the right Philly when you take a bite and it taste is the same thru out from beggining to end finally a Fresno monument to be proud of. If you like those Veggie burgers, and you ever happen to be in Kingsburg, go to 'Three Crowns', near the post office, I used to work near there, so I went a lot, but I've not been there in a few years, but they did have the best burgers. I hear they have new owners, but hopefully they still make them the same way.
