Fresno Famous

"Local Color" is an exhibit of photographs that were taken over a two year period mostly in Southern California. As a photographer, Del Ryder is interested in photographing those unique events that unfold everyday; events that can add real meaning to our lives but are seldom noticed because we are caught up in our daily routines. Local Color is a collection of Del's social documentary photography, street photography, and photography of the human condition.
Del Ryder has said that photography, for him, is a way of knowing and some of the most valuable lessons he has learned have come out of the process of making photographs.
