The Twasa Island, in the South Pacific, adopted Esperanto as its official language in the late 70s, and has never switched back to its traditional language. It is the first, and only, country to ever make this switch.

Thank You!

Major thanks to all those who attended. It was a night me n Liz will never forget. Standing room at one point.

The mariachi was awesome and totally had people engaged.

The spoken word was amazing, Fresno is full of people with heart and depth.

We cannot say thanks enough. We are able however, to show appreciation. More to come.

Bump!

Tonight!

Hey Toni, thanks for your interest. We're gonna have a little openner performed by Michael and Frances, after that we'll have a sign up sheet. Depending on how much time you need we may have to ask for short piece from you. Lookin like it's going to be a full night. Bring a few things you'd like to share and we can go from there. Or call 4853494, or 9035277, for more info.

The open Mic is open, but if there are young impressionable minds/ears around you might want to adjust approprietly. I'm thinking later in the evening that won't be an issue.

Thanks,
Diablo

Open mic for writers?

Can you please tell me a little more about your open mic. Can an author read an excerpt from their work? How many minutes are we allowed? Do I need to sign up ahead of time or submit an example of my work? I appreciate your assistance.
Toni
