CLUB DREAD FOURTH ANNUAL SOUND CLASH 2008 RULES

Greetings,
To all of you and welcome to CLUB DREAD'S FOURTH ANNUAL SOUND CLASH.
This year's Clash will be held on SATURDAY, March 29, 2008, at PIER 23
in San Francisco, CA.

This year will feature four sounds:

LONE STAR SOUND (CLUB DREAD'S 2007 SOUND CLASH WINNER)
BROKEN SILENCE SOUND (CLUB DREAD'S 2006 SOUND CLASH WINNER)
JAH WARRIOR SHELTER (2007 LA RUMBLE WINNER)
REALITY SOUND INTERNATIONAL

I feel that with all of these Champion Sounds in one place this will be a Premier Sound Clash.

The Winner will take home a Trophy & $2000.

CLUB DREAD SOUND CLASH RULES:
**SOUND CLASH STARTS @ 11PM**

1. INTRODUCTION ROUND ONE (1) 5 Minutes** Any Style (Dubplates Only)**

2. ROUND TWO (2) 15 Minutes** Any Style (Dubplates Only)
One Sound Drops Out!

3. ROUND THREE (3) 10 Minutes** Any Style (Dubplates Only)
One Sound Drops Out!

4. ROUND FOUR (4)
*Two Remaining Sounds go Tune Fi Tune**

Best 4 Out of 7*** EACH Judged Individually
FOUNDATION Dubplates Only
("Foundation" meaning the era of time in which the original song was recorded)
(*Strictly Foundation Dubplates Only*)

**Anything 1980 or Earlier is considered "Foundation Tune"**

ADDITIONAL RULES

5. Only the Sound and soundman part of the sound allowed
stage. (and MUST clear the stage immediately after
performing).

6. The Judging will be decided by the Crowd. The Crowd will
be asked who Won the round by a show of hands. If the crowd's
decision is unclear the MC/Judges will make the Decision.

7. Any Blatant SPLICE or MANUFACTURED DUBPLATES will mean DISQUALIFICATION.

8. Each Member of each Sound (That will be performing) will receive
Two guest passes to give to their guest. (THERE WILL BE NO GUEST
LIST AT THE DOOR)
