$1000 Prize Winner

Monroe, MI – Lauren Pfund, a cosmetology student from Michigan College of Beauty won the January 2008 student makeover competition sponsored by www.TheAmericanMakeover.com. Lauren will receive a $1000 prize package that includes $100 in cash, $100 in hair products from Enjoy Hair Care, $200 in makeup from Suzi Q Cosmetics, a CHI flat iron, a digital camera, a state board exam supply kit from Cosmebeautica, LLC, and custom designed business cards from EKO Marketing & Design, LLC, a portfolio, and many other related items.

TheAmericanMakeover.com is an opportunity for cosmetology students to feature a monthly makeover, win prizes, and get national exposure. It is the only makeover competition fully web-based: students can enter for free, submit their makeover photos, rate makeovers, and view the winners all online. Not only is there a monthly makeover competition for cosmetology students, but students can also compete in other contests on the website for makeup and nails.
