In 1810 the U.S. Census found that an average American city had a horse for every three citizens, which is the same ratio of people to cars in the 2000 Census.

Now you have to scroll down to find the last post you read, then read up to go with the flow of the conversation. If you start reading from the top, the converstaion makes no sense, as you don't know what post people are commenting on.
Why is less than half the screen text and the other half ads? Can this be adjusted or something.
I'm pretty positive we didn't change that. if we did, it was not intentional. After some discussion though I think we will be leaving the newest comments on top for this reason: If you are keeping up with some specific blog and it's comments, isn't it much more convenient to have the newest ones right up top? That way you don't have to scroll down through a million other comments to find the newest ones.
It seems that people are more often going to be checking the newest comments posted as opposed to the 1 time they may have to go back to read the older comments. I mean really, are you reading the same old comments over and over every time you visit a specific blog post?
But thats just our opinion. If there is massive opposition to this, it can be changed. but ergonomically speaking, the current setup is much more logical.
see, the comment that will be listed under mine will older. that person liked that touch, i hate it. it makes very little sense to me that you would have the newest comment first. in this manner, you're reading stuff out of order, out of context. as of now, i'd have to scroll to the bottom of a thread and read upward. who reads that way?

I do like that the new comments show up at the top than at the bottom, no more scrolling to read the newest comment, now we scroll for the old comments, LOL, like i said before this site has been inverted, the colors are reversed from the old version and the scrolling is the opposite too.
I do like that I can select text, and copy it on here now, also my Google toolbar spell checker works on here again, someone finally fixed that script after years I me complaining about it. :-)
I agree

new comments on top? no no no (please)
Impractical, hard to read, hard to follow the thread of the conversation. Hate it. Please consider changing it back. Thank you.
