Fresno Would Be A Great Place To.......

Ok, I'll go first.
"I think Fresno would be a better place to raise kids if there were more neighborhood pocket parks."
Your turn. It has to be ONE SENTENCE ONLY.

trees
Fresno/Clovis would be a great place to live if the demolition of trees and orchards - to be replaced by new, rather pedestrian homes - would cease. :(
I really doubt that City Council had anything to do with the design with the stadium. It was between the Diamond Group (the owners at the time I believe) and the architect. I've never had to wait 45 minutes to get food. Maybe 15 the most. But what do I know?
Eliminate waiting 45 minutes for food at Grizzlies Stadium
Only in Fresno would they build a Stadium that seats 12,500 and build food stand to only handle feeding 6,000 at maximum.
Thank You City Council for doing more poor planning.
Fresno would be a better place if people showed up for public forums, like the one tonight for the city council race...
That sounds good
I would love to have bacon trees and gravy bushes. It would make cooking breakfast a lot easier.
Fresno is a pretty good place. Every town has issues. Fresno is what you make it out to be. If you want to be happy and enjoy it you will. If you want to be miserable and hate it, then you will.
Just open your arms and give Fresno a big hug!
Right,
and next to it a bush that oozed country gravy....mmmmmmmmm
Back to Mrs. Jorgensen's post. (sorry to derail)
A multipurpose park downtown would be cool, you know like slides and swings. I've been daydreaming an XGames event on the Fulton Mall too....
Diablo
What we really need...
are trees that grow bacon! That would put Fresno over the top!
Fresnoise
you spoke words I wanted to speak myself. Along those lines, I have known just as many, if not more, happy poor people than happy rich people. It is truly what you make of it.
I'll add that words themselves are powerful and often used with lack of attention to what they mean.
The deepest word I know is the shortest, I. Endlessly definable, if not utterly defiant of definability.
Diablo
If pigs could fly...
Ha ha... I made you look! Be honest, was anyone ready to blast me?
The "If" Statement requires thought, that is the only reason it was chosen. It is a powerful word that requires action, "moving, riding a bike, opening a business, playing at a park, see the mountains every day." Personally, I love action words. Without them, we won't determine goals and without goals we won't have progress. Progress is a never ending process. Yes, I do know everything! LOL.
To the person that wants to move, there isn't any type of "If" improvement that Fresno could make or become in order to make you like living here?
Fresno damn good place to live.
It is a shame that we don't have a park in the Tower District. Well, we have "Stoner Park" in the parking lot of St. Therese and there's the FCC campus when the students are not there. But, I guess there are higher priorities with the City budget.
I agree with Diablo on this one. Life is what you make it, not where you live. People who blame the town they live in because they are unhappy suffer from The Grass is Greener syndrome. "If I just moved away to another town I would be happy". Happy people are happy no matter where they are. Fresno's a pretty damn good place to live, all things considered.
Fresno Would Be A Great Place To.......Open a business north of Shaw Ave.
Fresno Famous would be a great place if it required you to sign in before leaving a comment.
Oops did I say that?
Then leave already and take your crappy attitude with you.
Fresno would be a great place to move out of.
that's funny
or at least interesting that everyone (except Diablo) has to use an "if" statement...
I'll adjust that a bit
Fresno IS a great place to do anything you want.
Diablo
Fresno would be great if the air was clean and I could see the mountains every day all day!
Great Question.
Fresno would be a great place to live once more bike lines are added.
