Duncan answers the questions

Like the responses or not, Candidate Jerry Duncan has taken the time to answer all 21 questions that were asked during last weeks downtown Mayoral forum and posted them on his website.
Hopefully the other candidates will follow suit.

That is true, on a number of occasions I have emailed him for some questions or issues and have had reasonably quick responses, they were from him too, not a secretary. A much better experience than the times I tried to contact a few of the other council people (or Mayors). I imagine as a mayor he may be a little too busy to personally reply to all emails, but the philosophy of the administration may be a bit better approachable than the current one. Of course I suppose I can always go to the Fort Washington Starbucks if I have a concern right now.
But I'm not bitter
I appreciate the efforts Duncan has made to communicate--a two-way process--his ideas, and his concerns (at times he's been quite active on MindHub). And he came through on this, as announced at last week's forum.

Whether or not you like his politics, it's great that he is willing to participate. Shows he cares about the people asking the questions.
