SMOG CITY ROLLER GRRLS v. SANTA CRUZ ROLLER GIRLS
Come check out the derby grrls of Fresno as we take on the Santa Cruz derby girls for the AMBUSH IN APRIL!!! Immediately following the Tattoo Convention; Make The Convention Center Downtown your one-stop party place!
WHEN: Saturday April 26, 2008
WHERE: Valdez Hall Downtown Fresno Convention Center
TIME: Doors open at 6pm Bout starts at 7pm
COST: $12 in advance/ $15 at the door/ Kids 10 and under are free
Pick up your tickets at Retro Rag in the Tower District or Sugar Hill Skate Shop in Pinedale.
10% of all procedes donated to The Evangel Home, helping homeless women and children of Fresno.

As for me, i cant hide my identity. Im totally overexposed because of derby. Plus, when they call my name, Orange Bear, YOU BETTER ROAR!!!!!!!

I was a ghost on skates for halloween when i was 12. wasnt a good idea....tripped alot over my sheet and couldnt get the whole "oooohhhhhh" scary sound down.
Ever look for ghosts in skates? Just curious. :D

Heck yes!! We love Paul and will continue to hold our after parties at Palominos.
And the coach is right, you dont get to keep the grrl who falls into your lap BUT if she's MEXICAN with heavy make-up and a bad attitude, chances are, you can rent her for the night!

The most incredible show on skates. These grrls have been working their asses off to be ready for this bout. It would be a shame if you didnt come cheer them on. They feed off of it. Come out, grab a drink and watch all of the action...but GET THERE EARLY for the best seats! If you have been to a bout before you know how full the place gets. If you havent, well come pop that derby cherry and get hooked. Sit next to the track and you will probably get a roller grrl in your lap. Unfortunatly, unlike baseball you dont get to keep 'em.....unless you are very charming. Then after all of the action shoot out to the afterparty and buy your favorite roller grrl (or coach/medic) a drink and mingle with the coolest group of people in Fresno!
