Songs of Len Francis Monahan - A Unique American Independent-Artist

Len Francis Monahan is an internationally acclaimed American singer-songwriter. He was born in Toledo, Ohio in a family of eight children and began his adult life as a blue collar worker in America’s industrial rust belt. Throughout it all, Len’s real love was singing and writing songs, and his first record (1975) “Being Alone For Christmas” and “Christmas Lullaby” received national and international airplay. Len is the author of numerous songs, including “Take It Easy,” “Marionette” and others – with his songs “Another Road” and “Tapping At Your Window” having hit the national charts in the United States. A recording engineer friend of his put together various recordings of Len’s and released it as “Voice of the Guitar” in 2001. Some of those recordings are remixed and included in this album.
Len’s songs have also been archived in the National Music Museum in London, England. Presently, Len lives in the Sierra Nevada Mountains with his wife Elaine where he enjoys writing, singing, watching bobcats, coyotes, hummingbirds and an occasional mountain lion.
