It all started (insert wavy dream sequence pattern here) when Christian Vargas innocently asked if he could paint on a YN! wall. A couple of months, lots of paint, and an amazing bunch of natural talent later…we have some pretty cool art work on this here Downtown building.
Don’t believe it when they tell you a kid with a spray paint can is a menace to society!

The thing I like most about this -project is the wrong word- it’s more like a “happening” is this: not only are these young artists talented they are the nicest individuals you will ever meet… they have been completely self sufficient from the start and have coordinated everything about this show. Aside from having a wall to paint on and baking a few cookies, we at YN! have done virtually nothing for this event. Nice kids..good vibe..fabulous walls. How lucky can a Retro-Vintage store be?
