Poetry at the Smokehouse on Van Ness & Fresno St

found out that there are 2 poetry events held at the Smokehouse
1) every Wed starting 7 to 8ish PM, ending? hosted by Lady J & Lady Bombay
2) every 3rd Sat starting 7PM, ending? heard there was a cover charge ($$$)
anybody been?
heard that the Sat event is very well attended & very good poetry

at the Smokehouse, supposed to be clean, deep poetry

Have been
to the Wednesday Soultree Lounge. Dinner and words. It's great. Good happy hour at the same time too. One time, some words were so deep, it made one of those lumps in the throat. Didn't know about the Sat event. Thought the Sat event was more of a club. The streets are lined up with cars all around there for whatever they have going on. If it's for words, that's just awesome.
