Poetry reading: Sharon Bryan

Fresno State's distinguished visiting poet in residence, Dr. Sharon Bryan, will read from her work, with a reception and book signing to follow. Bryan, the author of four poetry collections, has earned two National Endowment for the Arts fellowships in poetry and has won the coveted Academy of American Poets Prize. The event is the first of two this spring in the English department's Visiting Writer Series, co-hosted by the MFA program in creative writing and the San Joaquin Literary Association.
