Camp Fareta - West African dance and drum workshop
Master dancers and drummers from West Africa, including Guinea, Senegal, and Mali, will be gathering at Camp Hye Sierra, an hour east of Fresno, creating the hottest event the Sierras have ever seen! There will be at least three dance classes and two drum classes a day plus other cultural events, a delicious international menu will be created by a former Esalen chef, and there's a kids program as well.
Camp Hye Sierra, at 4,500 feet, has a lake for swimming and boating, hiking trails, a basketball court, plus cabins for sleeping (or bring your own tent). Bring your friends and family, escape the city heat, and immerse yourself in an amazing cultural experience!
