Cooking and cleaning are for suckers. Treat yourself to a Thanksgiving without chores at Fresno's best restaurants.

Not looking forward to scooping out turkey innards this year? Then give thanks for the division of labor! Treat yourself and your family to some home cooking by Fresno's finest chefs. Dine in, or take a turkey and all the fixings home.

Let them do the dishes

Slates will be serving a four course meal, featuring soup and salad, organic free range turkey or glazed ham, cornbread stuffing and a selection of pies. The feast is $55 per person, $20 for kids.

For options other than turkey, The Manhattan will be serving prime rib, fillet, and items from its regular menu in addition to the traditional turkey dinner. Prices start at $19.95.

The Elbow Room in Fig Garden Village will offer limited items from their menu in addition to their holiday meal. Your choice of steak, lamb, turkey, or ham and that unique Elbow Room atmosphere.

For more casual dining, holiday stalwart Livingstone's has a special menu of turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green veggies, and pumpkin pie. Stick around to see all your friends that moved away slowly trickle into the bar as the night progresses. It's always a high school reunion at 'Stones!

Put the luck of the Irish in your Thanksgiving at Fagan's. For $15 per person, Carrie Fagan-Davis will serve up her turkey or ham with all the fixings.

Give yourself something to really be thankful for at Table Mountain Casino. Their regular Thursday senior buffet is just $6!

Pretend you made it

Popular north side restaurant Campagnia puts the Italian on hold for a "to go" turkey feast. Order your family meal to serve 6-8 with a 12-pound turkey, sausage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and pumpkin pie. It's pick-up only, and $120 for the whole meal.

Are you used to ordering your Thanksgiving noshings from Max's Bistro? This year Catalano's Market is featuring Max's delicious pies and breads in their we-make-it-you-bake-it holiday feast. The meal includes a turkey that has been marinaded, but still needs to cook (starting at four hours, depending on the size), plus the regular sides and Max's pumpkin pie. A meal for 8-12 people is $199.

Whole Foods also has a Thanksgiving to go special, with your choice of two types of organic free range turkeys (turkey needs to be browned before serving- about one hour). With stuffing, cranberry, mashed potatoes, green beans with shallots, and pumpkin pie. A meal for 6-8 is $99.99. Smaller dinners, with a 7 - 10 pound turkey, are $54.99.

Advance orders and reservations are recommended!
