Something Fun to L@@K at

I recently purchased a 1962 Fresno phone book off e-Bay. You know for just a few dollars, I have had the most fun with this book. I especially like looking at the old yellow pages advertisements. I can remember many of the old businesses from when I was a wee lad growing up. Many of these businesses are no longer around, and it is fun to go to the old adresses where they once were in operation. It brings back some really cool old memories!

phone books

The Fresno Law Library (Fresno County Courthouse) has these going back to the 1920's. They listed by name, by address, and even put the profession of the man of the house. I think the main library has them too.
