Eva Maria Scow - Brazilian Soul

Seventeen year old Sensation and her Bay Area-based Brazilian Choro group is coming to Fresno! Playing Choro— a Brazilian popular music style which originated toward the end of the 19th century in Rio de Janeiro. It combines the rhythms of samba,baiao,and polka with the melodies and harmonies of bossa nova and jazz.

Carlos Oliveira (7-string guitar), Mauro Correa (6-string guitar), Eva Scow (mandolin)

We will also have Brazilian percussionist Claudio Bebbiano performing with us.
