Our inner ten year old has been unleashed! Farts
are hilarious, and we just can't stop talking about them. The new exhibit at the
Met,
Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body is a superfun gross out featuring booger games, fart pinball, "guess that smell", and a scab climbing wall. Based on the best selling
children's book, the exhibit is sure to be a blockbuster. It opens this Saturday, January 29. In conjunction with the exhibit, the Met is sponsoring the Fresno premier of
Supersize Me in March, if you haven't already Nexflixed it or you want to see it on the big screen.
Speaking of farts, those who eat a plant-based diet produce more gas than those who do not. Nobody knows that better than
Kumar Santiago, our Famous vegan chef. This month he's making some easy-on the GI tract Spanish Rice. It goes well with beans!
Due to popular demand we're extending the run of the
Amber Frey book report. Still a New York Times Best Seller? Still page one on Famous. Meet the lovely Amber this Saturday at Barnes and Noble. The magic begins at 3pm.
Another week, another
Shannon.
