election time phone calls

I do not mind mailed information or radio and TV commercials... but a automated phone call puts those people on my do not vote for them list. Most of those automated calls make them sound desperate, and yes they are desperate for my vote, but if they really wanted my vote especially in the local area, a personal phone call by some one knowledgeable who is part of their campaign, then I'd very much consider voting for them... but for now who ever called from the unavailable caller ID number that is running for Sheriff, I can tell you that I will not be voting for you, but then I don't even remember who you were.
