This would make my daytime drinking so much more productive. If only the Famous office would spring for cable.
A three-day weekend is upon us. Check the City of Fresno's site for all the MLK activities this weekend, including the candlelight vigil Sunday night and the Martin Luther King, Jr. March and Food Drive to End Childhood Hunger on Monday.
Ce Weekend: There's so much going on this weekend, where to begin? At the beginning...Friday: "Lightning in a Bottle," presented by Fresno Filmworks at 5PM and 8PM, Art Under the Stars at the FAM with poetry, live painting, dance, and wine. Zenith:Nadir at Tokyo, Good Medicine at Full Circle, Lord of the Dance at Saroyan, CD release party for Winter Wardrobe at Kuppajoes, and the opening of the Vagina Monologues at Theatre 3. Saturday: more Vagina, The Thermals in Visalia, guitars at Full Circle, and fancy harmonica at Zapp's Park. Sunday: comedy stylings of Carlos Mencia and if we're not mistaken, the third Sunday Jazz Jam at Tokyo.
