Serving Fresno Day

JOIN US in a community-wide day of service! Bring your friends, school, church group, business associates, and your family. Everyone is welcome—Everyone can Serve! We will gather at 8:00 am at 1727 L Street, Fresno for a huge kick-off rally and then depart to service sites all over Fresno. There is no better time to Serve—Local agencies will be preparing for the holiday season and the need for services will be in high demand. So come on down and JOIN IN—you can sort food and clothing items, paint houses, plant trees, construct fences, visit seniors, encourage the disabled, clean schools and neighborhoods, collect books, and make a difference in our community! THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU TO SERVE—NOVEMBER 18th!

I just really wanted to encourage everyone to go to this event if they get a chance. I am really disappointed that I can't make it (not actually living in the valley and all...) but I know that it is such a sweet opportunity to really see the wide array of needs right here in Fresno. And, painting houses? How fun is that. I love to paint.
